CFDA (council of Fashion Designers of America) is considering Men's fashion Week as it nears its 50th anniversary the upcoming year. CFDA's President Diane Von Furstenberg and CEO Steven Kolb told WWD about the organizations future plans and challenges.
The organization will be focusing on the prospects of a dedicated Men's fashion week in New York. CFDA has prioritize its work for the next year, it will be concentrating on supporting men's fashion, menswear designers and men's fashion week events to be held abroad.
CFDA is thinking globally, they are planning to bring CFDA members of Fashion Fund alumni to Paris and also coming up with a two year partnership with Samsung to link American men's fashion designers with Korean men's fashion Designers.
